We Don't All Learn the Same Way
An Introduction to Learning Styles

Overview

As an adult educator, your primary goal is to help your students learn better. Take a few minutes to think about how each student in your classroom learns best. Can you specifically describe how each individual learns best? If not, you are not alone. Although learning style theories have been with us for over thirty years, most of us do not always have the opportunity to fully understand how each of our students learn.

We don't all learn in the same way. In fact, most of us tend to learn in the way in which we are most comfortable. What are some of these different ways? This MAEPD online training will provide you with an introduction to some of the common learning style theories. Some research states that there are over fifty different learning style theories; however, this training has been developed to provide you with just the basics.
