An Introduction to Learning Disabilities

This training will provide you with an introduction to what a learning disability is and some basic characteristics. By the end of this training you will be able to:

checkmark Name three different types of learning disabilities
checkmark Identify characteristics of learning disabilities

Ready to begin? First, think about a student in your classroom who has been identified with a learning disability or one who is having trouble making progress in your program. As you complete this web-based training on learning disabilities, keep this individual in mind. Being able to apply what you are learning to a real life situation will help you to better help your students.
