TTF Draft Report (pdf)

A Framework for Transformation-PowerPoint presentation (pdf)

The Adult Education Transformation Task Force has been given the charge by the state legislature to make recommendations for updating Section 107 of the State School Aid Act, which oversees state funding for adult education.

The Task Force has also been given the task of assessing and making recommendations regarding a comprehensive statewide adult education delivery system that ensures all areas of the state are adequately served.  The Transformation Task Force is made up of adult education program directors for urban, rural and suburban communities.

The Task Force went around the state during the first two weeks of January to present their recommendations and to solicit feedback and local community input that will help shape the task force's final recommendations to the state and the legislature.

Additional written feedback will be accepted through February 1, 2010 and should be emailed to Kathleen Sullivan (kj.sullivan@comcast.net) and/or Gary Tweddle (gt3910@aol.com) .  The Transformation Task Force will convene on February 25 to consider all of the feedback and finalize the Report.
