As you proceed through a web-based training, you will notice a number of different icons (small images that are used as buttons) throughout the web-based trainings as well as larger images that alert you to an activity. These items are presented below for you to review.

Items that will do something when you click on them.

Clicking on underlined text will link you to another webpage on the Internet.
Clicking on the folder icon will allow you to open and print a file.
Clicking on the small mouse will open a new page on the Internet. You can close that new window when you are done viewing the information and still have your web-based training page right there!

Items that designate an activity is about to occur.

Break Time for a Case Study: This icon will be present when the learner is about to read and discuss a case study.
Break Time for Interaction: This icon will be present when the learner is about to either respond to a question or post a reflection on the Administrators' or Instructors' online Bulletin Board.
Break Time for Research: This icon will be present when the learner is directed to read more about a topic by either downloading a file and reading it, or going directly to a website to view the article.
